Benefit for Home Base Florida

NAPLES — Quail Creek Country Club hosted more than 120 people at its 4th Annual Salute to Veterans Golf Tournament and Concert to benefit Home Base Florida’s mission to help veterans, service members, and their families heal from the invisible wounds of war.

The unique event combined a 9-hole scramble, reception, silent auction and concert featuring the Big Cypress Band. Quail Creek invited 14 veterans participating in Home Base’s programs to play alongside their members, offering them the opportunity to not only be celebrated throughout the event for their selfless sacrifice, but to relax and connect with fellow veterans and the community.

During the reception, attendees enjoyed tasty treats from Mission BBQ Naples, Felipes, and the culinary expertise of the Quail Creek chef.

The event was chaired by General Ed Dyer, Home Base Florida Senior Advisor and Leadership Council Chair, who is also a member of Quail Creek Country Club. He, along with his dedicated volunteer committee, and generous event donors, raised over $100,000 to help Home Base improve the lives of those affected by military service-related trauma and promote overall mental health and well-being through its clinical care, wellness and education – all provided at no cost.
